Devesh Lal  :

In an ideal world, passion should eventually become our profession. Nothing can give more joy and satisfaction other than earning a livelihood out of something which you really love to do. We should ideally be making efforts to convert our passion into our profession rather than melting ourselves at some monotonous corporate job and continuously searching for satisfaction and happiness.

Sometimes we feel that life is unfair to us or how beautiful it would be if we could get paid for doing what we love. But Do we have that courage within us to make it happen? Are we ready to take the risk of leaving some high-paying job and enter into the world of passion? It is said that “Choose your passion as a profession and you will not have to work even a single day in your life”.But do we have that gut?
Devesh Lal is one such gem who showed the courage to choose passion as his profession. He showed the courage to stand up and walk every time life hit him with the stones of pain. Devesh Lal is a famous singer, Performer, and upcoming sensational artist. Most of his live performances are based in Kolkata currently but his social media presence is winning the hearts of millions.

FAMILY AND CHILDHOOD

Devesh Lal was born in the Bhagalpur district of Bihar. His father, Late Shashi Bhushan Prasad was a private company employee and Little business, and his mother, Meenakshi Roy is a House Wife. He has four other siblings namely, Anamika lal, Peeyush lal, Chandrika lal, and Brajesh lal.
Devesh Lal did most of his schooling from Bhagalpur only. Since his early childhood, he was passionate about singing and wanted to make a career in it. But being from the middle class and having no exposure to music and arts, his dream remained only a dream for a very long period of time. He started learning KEYBOARD and Guitar all by himself and soon he could play a few notes by himself.

EARLY STRUGGLE STORY

Since Devesh’s father wanted him to pursue some stable career and not music, he decided to go somewhere where he could do both , Higher studies and music .In order to chase his dream he took admission in B.Tech (Computer science) from GURU NANAK INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY , Kolkata, West Bengal . After coming to Kolkata he saw the potential of his passion.He got the exposure that he was looking for since his childhood.But much before he could plan anything,destiny hit him hard.His father ,the only earning member of the family, passed away when he was in his first year. His heart was shattered .For some days he thought he couldn’t even finish his graduation without any financial aid but this was the time when his internal courage came up. By hook and crook,he somehow managed to finish his graduation.This was the time when he get to know the real faces of people and he mastered the art of survival.

He also mentioned certain points of his life where he was feeling low and confused and at that time his younger brother Brajesh lal supported him to the fullest..He also mentioned that his family is his backbone and biggest strength.

Apart from social media presence,he also participated in the reality show called “COLORS OF YOUTH” and he was in top 10 from the Kolkata audition.He also got the chance to perform in semifinal of this show held at MUMBAI. His song BOL NA HALKE HALKE with one other participant BIDISHA BISWAS, got a huge popularity after telecast.

Time to time he keeps performing on some songs which is very close to his heart and gives him nostalgia His live Performance on “O SANAM” originally sung by LUCKY ALI, with S FACTOR got abundant love from the audience.

FUTURE GOALS

Devesh Lal wants to live his dream of being a great artist and leave a legacy behind him.When asked about his journey , struggle and future goals he said,” I have faced so many things in the life.Earlier i used to get anxious and demotivated about many things but now I have learnt to face the world.I have few friends and my family who are here to support me and I need nothing more than that”.
He is looking forward to perform on biggest platforms of the world and leave his voice behind in the ears of every music lover.
He is taking proper training of music and various other instruments and don’t want to leave any stones unturned. He also advised youngsters to chase their dreams as it is the only thing that can give satisfaction at the end of the day.
