Yohani was interested in singing and listening since childhood. Yohani used to sing all kinds of songs like rap songs pop songs classical all she likes. later on, Yohani started her music career on Youtube her YouTube channel name is Yohani. She made her first record with the Pettah Effect label. She made her debut with the Aaye song in which she expressed how she came to the music industry. Yohani has become quite famous for singing her Tamil songs. Yohani De Silva is now known as the “Rap Princess” of Sri Lanka.

Yohani was born on July 30, 1993 ( 28 years old ) in Sri Lanka. Yohani started his education at Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo 5. After completing her ordinary education she moved to Sir John Kotelawala Defence University for graduation and further high-level education. From Sir John Kotelawala Defence University she completed her graduation with a Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics Management.

Along with studies, Yohni also continued her passion for singing and put her own singles and many more songs on her YouTube channel. Soon Yohani got a chance to sing for many big music companies in Sri Lanka.
