No doubt, there are a lot of youngsters who are lost in the parallel worlds of imagination and destructive paths. But there are also some young minds who are making constant efforts on the ground and working on bringing a better world to us. One such young mind is Kunal Ravindra Chavan, a 21-year-old young social worker, and entrepreneur.
Kunal Ravindra Chavan, a simple but enthusiastic mind from Pune City, is the CEO of a successfully running and well renowned NPO – YUVA ASMITA FOUNDATION. Apart from being a social worker, he is also parallelly running businesses in Pune and other parts of Maharashtra.
About his early life and education-
Early Life Of Kunal Ravindra Chavan.
Kunal Ravindra Chavan was born on 1 November 1999 in otur, Maharashtra. He belongs from Pune but currently, his family resides in Mahad, Konkan.
Kunal’s family consists of his father Ravindra chavan who is a successful businessman.His mother kumudini is a principal And his young brother karan chavan.
Coming from a middle-class family, Kunal has to face a lot of struggles in his early life. However, it didn’t affect his enthusiasm and determination.
He says, he used to live in a rented house in his childhood. Eventually, his father has gone through a lot of struggles and then they got access to a normal lifestyle and shifted to Mahad, Konkan.
His education
Kunal Ravindra Chavan has completed his matriculation from Pune City. He did his intermediate from Ambedkar college in Mahad. Currently, he is pursuing, MCom from Pune.
He says, his college has played a very important role in paving his way for social work. He was supported by friends and teachers of his college. They appreciated his work on the social front which gained him the courage to carry out his work.
Starting of Yuva Asmita Foundation-
Kunal said, he was always passionate about working for people from his childhood but due to lack of support and knowledge he couldn’t. He added, when he shifted to Pune City back in years, he used to see a lot of children and Poors wandering for food on the streets. This crumbles his heart and this is where he decided to work for people’s welfare.
He said, initially he was not supported by the family on his decision as they asked him to first complete his studies. However, Kunal had made up his mind, no matter what, he will work. This marked the beginning of one of the most successful NPOs of South India- YUVA ASMITA FOUNDATION.
In 2018, in 1st year of his college, he started working individually by distributing food and stuff from his own pocket money. However, after 4-5 months, he was joined by many of his friends from his college and others. By 2019, he was accompanied by about 100+ people in his own established NPO.
He and his team work got appreciated on the social front and many local people along with his family members joined his NPO.
In between his social work, many of his friends left due to financial and family problems. He was betrayed many times and got setbacks but he never gave up. He kept working consistently and there he is the CEO (founder) of a successful NPO.

Know about Yuva Asmita Foundation-
Yuva Asmita was Initiated Back In The Year 2018 In Pune, Maharashtra individually by Kunal Ravindra Chavan. Later he was joined by many people like his friends, family, and local people. Currently, Under This NPO About 1000+ People Are Giving Selfless Help To Needy Ones. Their network is also spread through their social media handles. Overall, they work in Pune and some parts of Gujarat and Rajasthan. They are active in Pune Branch, Raigad, Hingoli, Mumbai, Ratangiri, Nandubar, Nashik, Kolhapur, Aurangabad. Also, They Have Been Trying To Expand Their Help To The Rural Areas Of Pune and all over India.
Yuva Asmita generally work for children welfare and their development. They have target to provide free education and better living condition to the poor children. In Lew of this, Kunal ravindra chavan (founder ) has made a big initiative by lending his 5 acre land for this nonselfish deed.

Roti day campaign of Yuva Asmita-
Roti Day Campaign Is A Big And Appreciating Step Taken By The Members Of the Yuva Asmita Foundation. Under This Campaign, They Have Promised To Feed Each And Every Needy People Of Maharashtra. This Campaign Was Initiated On 14 Feb. They Celebrate Roti Day On 14th Feb Of Every Year By Distributing Food And Essentials To The Poor.
This Campaign Is One The Most Successful Initiative. It Has Been Appreciated By Dr. Shindhu Tai Sapal ( Popularly Known As Maai And A Conferred Of Padma Shri In 2021 And Mother Teresa Award). Roti Day Campaign Was Also Highlighted In The Lokmat Newspaper And Other Popular TV Channels Of Maharashtra.
Kunal Ravindra Chavan and his mates have Worked In Kerela Flood Relief. Later They Expanded Their Work To Cleaning Forts, Blood Donation Camps, Helping Poor Kids By Providing School Kits Clothes, And Donations. They Are Also Working For Women Welfare Like Menstrual Hygiene, Proper Living Conditions.

In the pandemic, their selfless work got them a lot of appreciation and they made a steep growth, got popularity by working in the front.
But the Konkan flood ( which recently hit parts of Maharashtra and south states) made a kind of full stop on their work and Kunal’s businesses. However, they didn’t stop and kept recollecting the stuff. They helped the locals to move to safe places along with providing them basic necessities.

Apart from carrying out his NPO single-handedly, he is also working along with his father in the estate business. Eventually, he has also initiated his own tour and travel business named KRC Tour and travel. He said, it was going good but the pandemic has marked a full stop in this. Also, the Konkan flood has affected his business and NPO as well.
He has a lot of ideas and initiatives which are still kept in the box of his mind, he said when asked about his future plans. He added, he will definitely work on those in good times if got financial support. Currently, his all focus is on Yuva Asmita.
Kunal ravindra chavan is the source of inspiration of thousands of youngsters of todays world.
The constant efforts of him and his team will definitely bring better world to poor and children.
