Announcement made On March 27, the 94th Academy Awards were held entirely in person for the first time since the pandemic began at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Stars arrived in their swankiest attire to honor some outstanding work from the previous year. Here’s who won the renowned golden statuette this year, as hosted by Amy Schumer, Regina Hall, and Wanda Sykes.
The biggest proud is “The Power of the Dog” was nominated for 12 awards. Dune came in second with ten, followed by Belfast and West Side Story, both with seven. Six nominations were given to King Richard.

Many more respective winners as well like Ariana DeBose (who won Best Supporting Actress for West Side Story 60 years after Rita Moreno did for the same role), Jessica Chastain (Best Actress for The Eyes of Tammy Faye), and CODA star Troy Kotsur (who became the second deaf person to win an acting Oscar for his performance in the film that went on to become the first streaming title to win Best Picture in Academy Awards history for his performance in the film that went on to become the first streaming title too.
