Paper-N-Parcel
The company ‘Paper-N-Parcel’ was started in the year 2018. It is a digital courier-based company with a low-cost delivery service. Tilak Mehta with his maternal uncle Mr. Ghanshyam Parekh together co-founded Paper-N-Parcel. It provides door to door service of the goods. The story behind the establishment of this courier company is very interesting. one day he (Tilak Mehta) forgot his math book at his uncle’s home. His father was too tired to go anywhere. But it was necessary to bring the book because of his exam. Tilak thought of taking the book back via courier. But the rate was higher than the price of the book. The urgent need of the book made him think about setting up his own company, which would provide service at a lower rate. The inspiration behind the startup is a Dabbawala. He implied the working pattern of a Dabbawala, who does door – to – door food delivery. Tilak thought of using the same pattern to deliver even the non-food items. With the help of the Mumbaikar Dabbawala, he expanded his business to a larger scale. The whole system works digitally. The Dabbawala does not get any fixed salary. They get commission on the basis of the range he travels. The turnover of the company is growing rapidly.
