His early life and his journey to being a musician–
Early life–
Shashank chandel was born on 30th Sept 1996 ( as now 25 yr old). He was born and grew in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His father is a businessman and his mother is a housewife. Shashank Chandel did his matriculation from Mumbai and graduated in Arts from Mumbai University.
Shashank’s music mentor’s name is Sanish Nair & Gandhar Jadhav.

Shashank says that he was interested in music but had never thought of pulling out his passion for music as a Career. He added that, at the beginning of his career, he was largely supported by his friends and college mates. Eventually, they are the only ones who made him realize that he has the potential to attract people’s attention to his alluring voice. They also encouraged him to create his own style of music. Shashank says, he is very grateful to them.
Shashank chandel entered the world of music back in the year 2012 And from then, his journey, as well as struggle, started hand in the hand with being an independent artist. He says, being an independent artist in India is very complicated and difficult because very few producers and big-budget banners gave chance to them.
At the beginning of his career, he used to sing in his college fest and in Interstate competitions and has won many of them. In the consecutive years, he learned to play guitar. He thinks an artist should be enthusiastic and innovative to master his field. He later joined a band named Madhur band with some other members as a vocalist and guitarist. Under this band, he had performed at many interstate fests, the fest of Mumbai, performed as an opening Artist in many cultural festivals of India.

He added, he has also performed solo at many fests of Mumbai and did live shows.

Shashank Chandel says he was always inspired by the music of Raghu Dixit and papon. They might be one of the underrated musicians of Bollywood but have never failed to give the best of music. He added that they have always been their inspiration and would love to work with them in the future as an independent artist.
His future plans
Shashank Chandel says, he is currently working on a single which will come up soon, when asked about his coming up albums. He said he would love to collab with Raghu Dixit and many other Bollywood singers.
Shashank Chandel said a very assuring statement that in these days of the pandemic, music has helped many people to overcome anxiety and depression. He added that he wanted to be known for his voice and music production rather than his name.
