World Test championship tournament over and new Zealand won the title of first-ever world test champion. The final match was played between Team India and Team New Zealand at Southampton (England). Both teams had played exceptionally well but as we know only one will be the winner and new Zealand takes the trophy home. The performance of India was quite disappointed because the batting performance of top-class batsman was not so good and that’s the reason India didn’t score a good total.
Since 2014 Indian never won an ICC tournament, like in 2015 India lost the world cup against Australia in the semi-final, that India lost the world t20 champions against west indies after that India lost the champions trophy final against Pakistan, and in 2019 India again loose world cup semi-final against New Zealand. Now also India lost the final world test championship against new Zealand. Some of the reasons behind the losing world test championship were.
- Indian players didn’t play any test match for a long time due to the covid pandemic
- The batsman was not in their actual form.
- Lack of test match experience in top-order batting.
- Bad fielding on the last day of the match
- Due to Rainy whether it’s become difficult for our pace bowler to swing the red ball
