HIMANSHU KOHLI, a perfect combination of music and humanity is becoming the inspiration for many. For him, music is something to which he can never deny off. Music acts like a magic key for him, which can even open his most tightly closed heart. In fact, not only for him, it is magic for all. He has such a peaceful and heartsease voice, which can give a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything. Music is a miracle for him that he has created himself.
The devil, the originator of sorrowful anxieties and restless troubles, flees before the sound of music, almost as much as before the word of god. Music, once admitted to the soul becomes a sort of spirit and never dies. Who could be luckier than a person who has this talent and guess what, Himanshu is one of them!!…….

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION:-
*Early Life*
Himanshu Kohli was born on 28th November 1988 in a Punjabi family. His entire childhood was spent in New Delhi. He was a jolly moody child, always interested in doing something creative rather than just sitting and reciting his lessons! He started developing an inclination towards music at the age of 6 and his passion became deeper due to his mother’s interest in singing.
He started learning guitar at the age of 17 from his Guru Mr. Amit Upadhyay who is a well-known blues guitarist in India.
*Education*
He never had a keen interest in studies as his goal was to become a well-known singer from an early age.
He was a certified guitar player and eventually started teaching and became a well-known guitar teacher in Delhi.

HOW MUSIC BECAME HIS SOULMATE?
In 8th standard instead of studying his course books, he used to take printouts of song lyrics and then used to recite them. He used to then sit in different sections of his school bunking his classes practicing these songs. However, he was a shy person and never performed on stage in his school life but always dreamt of performing on big platforms.
His journey as a singer started when he performed for 9X news and music channel during the promotions of the movie Rockstar on 11.11.2011 as Delhi’s Rockstar.
This relationship grew deeper when he started performing with a band in multiple college fests all around the country as a singer and guitarist. They won many competitions and gained fame through articles and news about their band in newspapers and news channels.
WHAT MUSIC IS FOR HIM!!
When we asked HIMANSHU, that what music is for him? How it’s one crucial part of his life, then he replied:-
It’s challenging to truly describe music in words for me. Music is much more than something they just listen to or play for fun. Great musicians have a passionate connection to the music they play. While the music itself is their most important and accurate expression of how they feel about music, they’ve also managed to say a few poignant things to describe what music is to them. And as a musician, for me also “it is the universal language of mankind.”
Music is nothing separate from me. It’s me… You have to remove the music surgically. Music to me is like breathing… I don’t get tired of breathing….b don’t get tired of music!!!….

Music is your own experience, your own thoughts, your wisdom. If you don’t live it, it won’t come out of your horn. They teach you there’s a boundary line to music. But, man, there’s no boundary line to art. It is a world within itself. It’s a language we all understand. It has healing power. It has the ability to take people out of themselves for a few hours.

JOURNEY:-
Finally, in 2015 he ran away from his home and came to Mumbai to start out his journey of becoming a playback singer in Bollywood.
After 1 year of struggle, he got his first gig which became a turning point in his career in Mumbai. Since then he has performed at multiple shows and has grown immensely as a singer and performer.
Now he has created his own destiny, where he rules, lives the way he wants with his soulmate.
