1. Apart from being a food blogger, how do you represent yourself?
Arkaprava Paul: As I m a food blogger, people might think that I am fond of being an influencer or a blogger, but let me make it very clear that it is not so. I always wanted to make a documentary about my life. Like, after the death of my Grandfather, he has left behind a lot of things. Once I thought if something happens to me, what can I leave behind for the next generation? Then I thought why not memories. I will create the memories and store them on my social media. So I always considered myself a digital creator. I don’t consider myself as an influencer nor even as a blogger but as a person who is making a documentary of his life on social media.

2. We have studied you and we came to know that you follow all your passions like singing, photography, and riding. So how do you maintain all these as a food blogger and how do you feel that you are able to follow your passion along with your studies along with food blogging?
Arkaprava Paul : Most people take photos to increase the content on social media but mine was never like that. For me this concept was never for money, I was always used to the opposite thing. I always post, shoot, and show what’s happening in my life. Like today I went for a ride in the morning. After going on the ride I took photos there and posted them. After coming from there, I got a lot of urge for coffee, so I made and put it in the story on my social media. Even I like cooking and I cook well. Sometimes, whenever I sing, I use to shoot and post it. My contents are always non scripted. It’s always like whatever I m doing, I just put it on social media. You can say it is a non-filtered documentary.

3. From where did you get the idea of becoming a food blogger?
Arkaprava Paul : This came from my sister. Like, in the initials, we only used to take some photos and write the reviews. Gradually we thought why write only the reviews, why not share them as a memory and as a reminder. Then I made a page on Instagram and started sharing my stuff, reviews, taste, and everything.
4. Did you have any idea about the food bloggers who were already in this field?
Arkaprava Paul : No, initially I wasn’t aware my about this. I just started food blogging because of my interest. I wanted to make memories. My motto was never to make money or fame from this. This was only from my interest side. When I came in this field, the owner of FoodZpah, shahbaaz. I learnt alot from him, like, how to collaborate with the restaurants, how all the things works as an food blogger. So I m really thankful to him.
5. Tell us about your early life?
Arkaprava Paul : I was very a fluufy puffy kind of a child who loved to play in ground. I used to play cricket. No matter what happened, falling down, getting hurt, broking my bones, still never stoped. Then in std-6th I got majorly hurt and had to stop my cricket there. Then I was left with no work in weekends as my cricket was stopped, so I started learning guitar, music, and some activities. As my family is also related to these cultural activities alot, so they also encouraged my alot to do all these things.
6. Please tell us about the feeling that you had when your followers increased from 1 to 25k?
Arkaprava Paul : See, gradually I didn’t know much about the followers. I always took them as a number. But after 5k my friends started showing importance to me, like, they used to say that you had number of followers. Then after 10k, I started getting lot of appreciation and at the same time I started getting heaters too and there I realised that yes, I have reached enough and have to go more alot. Then slowly when it became 25k on Instagram, 50k on Facebook, I didn’t even realised.
7. How can a person keep himself motivated by ignoring himself from the haters?
Arkaprava Paul : First of all, you should never go in that field in which you are not interested. In this journey, I have came accross to many such people who use to do this just because they think this work or this job has some more scopes than others. If you do your job with this mindset, then you won’t be able to work and cover a long journey with it. You will become very disappointed if you won’t get that much support from the audience as much as you expected and there only you will loose your motivation. So according to me one should never work in the field in which you are not interested. If you aren’t passionate then what’s the need of doing that. And if you are passionate for that you will have the hope that okay this will happen in the next, in the next, and that will make you motivated and you will keep going.
8. What message you want to convey to the youth who are getting addicted for the social media?
Arkaprava Paul: See, according to me every one is addicted of something, but what matters is that the addiction should not harm you. Someone is addicted of the bikes, some are indulged in video games, food, games, etc… In life everything is necessary but in limitations. For me my social media is not my happiness, my happiness is my own life that I m portraying through my social media among many people.

Arkaprava Paul: I see myself as an food blogger itself but as a more relevant and improvised personality. I will complete my studies and as I have never asked for love, I will never do so. With the blessings of almighty I have always received and earned it. So I will try to give my best.
