DISHA RAVI CASE STUDY__
Disha ravi, an indian youth climate activist got arrested by the delhi police on saturday 13th feb 2021 after FIR got register against her on 4th feb 2021 for retweeting the Greta thunburg’s toolkit in case related to indian farmer protest.
DELHI POLICE STATEMENTS__
Delhi police has claimed that she shared the edited toolkit with gerta thunburg and later asked to delete it. Delhi police is also claiming that evidenced against her has been found and asked court for 5 days custody of disha ravi for further investigations.
Delhi police is claiming that there is a big conspiracy against indian govt in the name of khalistani movement which is spreading across the world in tits bits.
Delhi police has doubt on disha ravi for alleged role relating khalistani movement. Through her police also wants to link up all conspirators in india supporting khalistani movement.
GRETA THUNBURG CASE STUDY__
Greta thunburg is an american youth social and climate activist who got popularity from her UN Speech. Recently she came into light when she shared the toolkit on her official Twitter account.
It is an document created to explain any issue and provide information what one needs to do to address issues.
In Greta’s toolkit there was info about the mass movements and petitions cyber curfews etc.
According to the Central govt it may promote the khalistani movement and prove to be fatal for fraternity of country. After a lot of condemnes, she deleted the post but after some time she reposted it with edited version.
There are many social-climate activist came up in support of disha and condemned the action of delhi police. Some Congress leader like shashi tharur, Kumar biswas twitted under #supportdisharavi #freedomofspeech. Kisan morcha dal also supported her and asked govt to release her. Many youth marched on the road against indian govt.
FURTHER CASE STUDY__
Delhi police has found many evidences against disha ravi and claimed that there are many politicians, business men and activist involved in this conspiracy. Delhi police is still investing on this case and claimed to come up with big names.
